Eden Crest Vineyard, Three Minute Aerial Tour
Three minutes of aerial footage over Eden Crest, about 70 acres near the top of the Red Hills AVA above Lower Lake in Lake County, California. The tour flies the producing Cabernet block, the two knolls that hold the cold air off the fruit, the water infrastructure, and the long view out to Mount Konocti.
This tour has no narration. The only audio is instrumental music, so no information is lost with the sound off. Everything the video shows is written out below.
The address card in this video reads Kelseyville. The property's address of record is 8179 S State Hwy 29, Lower Lake, CA 95457.
Text description of the tour, shot by shot
The video is continuous aerial drone footage of the property, about three minutes and eighteen seconds long, with no spoken word.
- Opening, 0:00 to 0:20. The camera flies low over trellised vineyard rows on red volcanic soil. An on-screen text card reads "8179 S. State Hwy 29, Kelseyville CA"; the address of record is Lower Lake, CA 95457. Mount Konocti stands on the horizon under a clear sky.
- 0:20 to 1:00. The camera climbs and pulls back to show the planted block on the hillside, with bare and wooded ground on either side and a dirt access road running along the edge of the vines.
- 1:00 to 1:35. Close aerial passes down the rows. Individual vines, trellis wire and metal stakes are visible, along with grape clusters and green canopy leaves in detail.
- 1:35 to 2:20. Wide passes over the rolling vineyard and the two knolls, showing the surrounding valley, neighbouring planted ground and, in several shots, the lake in the distance.
- 2:20 to 2:50. The camera moves over the water infrastructure: a long line of large dark water tanks on a graded pad of red soil, a second group of round tanks, and pumping and filtration equipment beside them.
- 2:50 to 3:18. The camera rises for closing wide shots across the whole planted area toward Mount Konocti. The same on-screen text card, "8179 S. State Hwy 29, Kelseyville CA" (address of record: Lower Lake, CA 95457), appears again over the final frames.
No people, no interiors and no buildings other than the water infrastructure appear in the video.
